Robbie Fowler ripped into Luis Suarez in an unexpected pre-match rant before Liverpool kicked off against Barcelona on Tuesday night. The Reds had a monumental task in front of them as they were 3-0 down from the first game at Camp Nou, in which Suarez scored and controversially celebrated against his old side.3
"I have a big problem with the way the fans love him.""He started playing well because he wanted to leave.""Michael Owen did far more for this club than he ever did.""His antics against Liverpool showed no respect."Robbie Fowler does NOT hold back on Luis Surez… pic.twitter.com/WKt1RaQ6Yy— Football on BT Sport (@btsportfootball) May 7, 2019You can go and play for Barcelona, but the way he left Liverpool, he wanted to go and move to Arsenal. All of a sudden people go, Oh, well he stayed and he was still brilliant and he never downed tools. He started playing well because he wanted to leave. And I have a big thing with that, so thats what annoys me about the Liverpool fans, they love him.Michael [Owen] wont like me for saying this, but Michael done far more for this club than what he ever did.3

A touch of bitterness in Robbie Fowlers voice.— Stanley Chow (@stan_chow) May 7, 2019
Robbie Fowler says he has no respect for Luis Suarez because he left Liverpool. He followed this up by saying Michael Owen did more for Liverpool than Suarez. Didnt Owen leave Liverpool for Spain too?He then said Liverpool should wind up Suarez and try to get him sent off.— Limpar33 (@Limpar33) May 7, 2019
I like Robbie Fowler but this is pure nonsense. https://t.co/P4NTwfz7LL— Sam Munnery (@SamMunnery) May 7, 2019
WOW, Robbie Fowler"s showing his true colours tonight. Some of those Liverpool fans don't need motivating to hate Suarez any more Robbie. Maybe grow up & be at more responsible when you're on the tele!!— MCFC4Heatons (@Mcfc4H) May 7, 2019
Ah, so Robbie Fowler was the caller I heard on talkSPORT last week screaming how Suarez will never be a Liverpool legend because of the way he behaved at Camp Nou.— Rupert Fryer (@Rupert_Fryer) May 7, 2019
