BREAKING NEWS | We are delighted to announce that manager Gary Bowyer has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal, keeping him at the @Northern_Comms Stadium until at least the end of the 2021 season. | Read full details here: https://t.co/FvUL2e7JZe#OurCity#BCAFC pic.twitter.com/2KW7DI7RmK— Bradford City (@officialbantams) April 2, 2019He has guided League One’s bottom club to just a single victory from five matches, winning his debut in the dugout against Peterborough but losing each of the four following fixtures.Bradford currently sit last place in League One, six points from safety with six matches to go.Bowyer has admitted he is already planning for the summer, regardless of whether Bradford secure their status in the third division or end up relegated to League Two.I am absolutely delighted to have everything over the line, he said. This is a great football club and I have enjoyed every single second since arriving. I am hugely excited to have been given the chance to take us forward and am ready for the challenges ahead.I think this brings some stability to the club. I have been to clubs in the past where stability has been needed and I have been able to provide it.We are looking to create a team which will give the supporters – and the city – something to be proud of. We want to deliver success.I pride myself on having big, physical and strong teams – with the ability to play good football. We have tried to do that here, in a short space of time, but obviously havent been able to recruit.
