Raheem Sterling has signed a new contract, Manchester City have confirmed.The 23-year-old’s current deal was due to expire in 2020 and the player had verbally agreed to sign a new deal, with City now making it official ahead of the Manchester derby.

My development here has been incredible,” he said.“I felt from the minute I got here it was the right choice for me. It’s really paid off for me and I’m really grateful.”Sterling scored 23 goals in all competitions last term and has netted seven more in the opening three months of the current season.
